European Commercial Marine Awards – deadline Midday on Friday 29 June
The European Commercial Marine Awards (ECMAs), incorporating the Innovations Showcase, attracts entries from across Europe and recognises the depth of excellence in commercial marine, celebrating the outstanding individuals and innovative companies that comprise this vibrant and productive industry sector.
The awards take place on the opening evening of Seawork – Tuesday 3 July from 17:30-20:00 in our Waterfront Golden Arrow Restaurant.
The evening starts with drinks and canapes, followed by presentation of the Innovations Showcase Awards, The ECM Maritime Sustainability Award, the ECM Maritime Professional of the Year Award, The ECM Maritime Best Project Award and the ECM Young Person’s Development Award.

Seawork 4th July Party and Cardboard Boat Regatta – deadline Midday on Tuesday 3 July
The 4thJuly Party and Cardboard Boat Regatta, is an Independence Day tradition in the USA. For the 2018 edition, Seawork is bringing this great networking event to Mayflower Park.
We will award three trophies: the Barton Marine Award for Best Bedecked Boat, the Sulzer Award for Soggy Bottom – Best Sinking or attempt not to sink, and the Shoxs Award for the Fastest Boat.
Some of the competitors already cutting and sticking are: Avon Protection, CSS Boats team, PSP, C-Quip, Landau, O3 and our very own ‘Captain Cardboard’ of Maritime Journal.
Spectator tickets with an American Style cook out and free bubbles or beer are available here on the Seawork website.
